The pages do not ask you to make an account on aitamer.news. The RSS feed is a public file. It does not record who subscribes. Comments under a story are loaded from Disqus. If you comment, you use a Disqus account, and Disqus receives what you type, plus the usual data a comment host collects. Pages that list stories also load a Disqus count, so the number of comments can be shown before you open the story. Their policy applies to that account.
aitamer.news is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. A copy may also be served from GitHub Pages. Those hosts receive the ordinary details of a web request: the address of the page, the IP address, and the browser’s user agent. That handling is theirs, under their own policies.
On aitamer.news the site also loads Google Analytics. The tag sends Google the page address and stores a cookie so a later visit from the same browser can be counted together. The GitHub Pages copy does not load this tag. The site does not sell this information.
The type is loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files from Google when it draws a page.
The contact form asks for a name, an email address, and a note. Sending it goes to contact.aitamer.news, a small Cloudflare program that checks the note and asks Cloudflare Email to deliver it to the desk, with your address as the reply-to. Nothing is stored in a database. To stop floods, Cloudflare counts how many notes come from your IP address in the last minute; the count is not kept. The form on the GitHub Pages copy posts to the same place. A hidden field is there for spam; filling it drops the note.
The desk does not sell personal information, because the site does not collect an account or a subscriber list. The terms of use cover how the stories may be read and quoted.
